DOT Supervisor Training FAQs

Any DOT regulated company must have one supervisor trained in reasonable suspicion training to meet FMCSA requirements, 49 CFR Part 382. However, we recommend having 2-3 supervisors trained in case one has to take off work for a period of time.

Our supervisor training aligns with the requirements of the FMCSA which requires at least 120 minutes of training total. It is divided into 60 minutes of controlled substance use and 60 minutes of alcohol misuse.

Our consortium members receive a training discount so it would cost only $125 per person!

Our in-person supervisor training is currently only available in Springfield, MO. Typically we will send out an email to our consortium member once a quarter when it is taking place.

Medical certificates are valid for 2 years without limiting health conditions. Based on driver health, certification periods can be shorter.

SAP Program FAQs

Get started with our SAP program to get back on the road and driving as fast as possible.

It is hard to say exactly how long a SAP program takes because information regarding a SAP testing program is kept confidential. On average, a motivated driver can complete the program within a week or two depending on their ability to pass a drug test.

To get started, KT Screening Services requires a $450 prepayment for SAP assessments. Remaining coursework and drug tests are paid as you go. Depending on the individual’s SAP evaluation, the price of course work and required drug tests, SAP cases can range between $700 to $1000.

KT Screening Services will guide you through the entire SAP process so you do not have to worry about wasting your time or money. If you have been told you can complete a SAP program in 1 to 2 days, it is likely a scam.
